Ok, this is a weird one, when we went we were the only customers there. Literally the only people in the building. No staff, but they were on call (and great!). A bit tired, breakfast very basic, value for money ok at best.

Hosts really do make a difference to a hotel stay, very disappointing at Cley Hall, rooms look good yet not is all it seems. Not clean when you look around and very over priced. Do not expect to sleep well either… hotel shakes with the traffic, so loud too. I would not stay here again

Faulty towers and noisy traffic keep you awake single glazed windows. Breakfast cooked. 1 bacon 1 sausage and 1 egg and 1 hash brown. Cheap and horrible place. Don't stay there

Had my wedding reception here and loved it. The rooms are great and spacious, the breakfast is fit for a king absolutely scrumptious and very friendly approachable staff.

We stayed at Cley Hall Spalding which has glowing reviews. That's why I chose it as a special trip for family from Australia. We were quite disappointed at the rooms in the Coach house. I had booked 3 rooms cost £327. Not particularly cheap. The rooms were small , hot and very noisy traffic if you opened the window. The bed not very big and more like a trampoline. In their add they show beautiful furnishings and I assume we would have the same in the Coach house. We did have a nice breakfast and the place was clean but a bit musty . So glad I only booked my family in for 1 night. I'm sure the main house would be different as most reviews are positive ones. So that's why the Coach house was a disappointment for the price paid livvy. Warning. In addition to this review we were charged twice for our rooms . So please check your Statements when they come.

We had a one night stay at Cley Hall Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel and our room was really lovely and the breakfast and service was excellent! The price was also excellent.

Perfect for a business trip to Spalding. Staff so very friendly and helpful. Had nice dinner and breakfast. The room was well set out and comfortable. My only complaint is that the windows didn't open very wide due to tha safety catch, so it felt stuffy on a hot summers night, even with the little fan. An extra few cm of window opening would help without comprimising safety

2nd visit within a month. Lovely room, lovely hotel, great location and best of all brilliant friendly staff. Will be back again I expect in the near future.

WE enjoyed our one night stay Staff were excellent as was Breakfast. The hotel clean and tidy and the room was very clean Sadly though we think we had the worst room in the hotel, toilet noisy and could hear similar toilet in another room. Room had only a velux window and the blind did not work, so woken early by the light. We will stay again but in another room

I'd definitely recommend Cley Hall Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with. The beautiful garden was a lovely place to relax and unwind. Overall, it was a great experience!

Lovely welcome, everything explained and local pub’s recommended. Comfortable room with modern facilities, breakfast cooked to order, always a winner for me rather than picking food from a hot buffet. I need to be in Lincolnshire for two days per month for work purposes and staying here will be my choice from now on.

It was what I expected. I can't say it was anything spectacular, but was a nice comfortable stay. What was nice was the friendly greeting and staff throughout the stay. The breakfast was very decent. Overall, was perfect for the price with the bonus of the staff and food. :)

We really enjoyed our two night stay, the old building with it's layout and lovely garden area, the rooms were of a good size and very clean. A lovely large bed and the quiet surroundings made for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was very good and nothing was problem for the staff. All the staff we encountered were very polite and very helpful. If we are ever in Spalding again this would be our hotel of choice. Well done keep up the good work, nice to have met you all.

Lovely characterful hotel, great decor, beautiful garden. Clean spacious room, comfortable bed. Friendly and accommodating bar staff, nice seating area in the bar lounge with large TV. Lovely breakfast.

We stayed for one night and found the best thing was the generous well cooked breakfast and nice staff. The room was however very disappointing with no window and noisy bathrooms.

Cley Hall is a lovely hotel right in the heart of Spalding. The rooms are perhaps a little dated but otherwise absolutely spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I had a nice view of the river but there are also views over the garden. The staff are all brilliant and breakfast was absolutely perfect, all hot made to order! The breakfast room too looks over the garden so a very nice stay overall. Found it much cheaper to book direct.

The hotel was excellent, and it was in a great location. The staff were exceptional and could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The cleaning staff were considerate on both our days. The breakfast was outstanding and made to order. The vibe overall was friendly, relaxed, and cosy, which contributed towards the ambience and friendliness of the guests. The bar is neat and tidy, and the gardens are well laid out with a spacious decking area to sit on , particularly when it's sunny. Overall, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend the hotel. We will be returning soon.

Just had 3 nights at Cley hall got upgraded, lovely large room warm spotlessly clean, large walk in shower. Fabulous breakfast, plenty of choice. Location in Spalding fantastic everywhere walking distance. Would definitely stay again. Many thanks to Hannah and Ben.

Lovely stay over for business trip, friendly and helpful staff, well appointed and comfortable room. Nicely cooked breakfast included in the room price. Grade 2 listed 18th century building with views overlooking a canal/river.

Very helpful when booking. Surprised that doors are locked at 9pm when this establishment is described as a hotel. Rooms are tired and in need of decoration.

Stayed for 3 days, lovely place. Staff are so helpful and friendly especially Gemma if you needed to know anything she had the answer. The room we had was in the back so it was so quite. The room itself was big but a bit dated. But I think the new owners are updating.

Great stay for the tulip parade, hotel is lovely we were warmly welcomed by Ben on arrival. Room was good for 2 nights and is located perfectly for town.

I arrived and was greeted warmly and professionally by Ben. I’m here for nine nights to attend my daughter’s wedding. I was treated to abundant amenities and the hot breakfast was a pleasant change from continental breakfasts in USA. The wedding was an absolute success with decorations befitting a princess. I enjoyed the dinner and drinks. After such a lavish experience I changed my plans to stay at a cheaper hotel further out of town. After returning from France I spent another nine nights in the lap of luxury. I had the pleasure of staying in the “junior” suite which was straight out of a magazine photo shoot. Hannah, Ben, Gemma and the wait staff and cook were extremely helpful. I’ll never forget my stay here and I’ll be back as soon as I can! Thank you all!
